I have chosen not to accept insurance due to the nature of insurance requirements. Insurance companies operate under the medical model and require a diagnosis of pathology for reimbursement. This approach to mental health sets restrictions on therapy that limit the experience of the client and is not in alignment with the wellness based approach adopted by this practice.
